Sony Ericsson offers two new options – the ELM and the Hazel – both claimed as the greenest phones out there. Both phones are made out of recycled plastic. Both do not include toxic chemicals that are commonly found in electronics. Both phones have energy efficient charges and both are packaged in minimal packaging. Both phones use eco-friendly paints.

The phones have the Walk Mate feature helping the user to find the route where he or she needs to go. The aim of this feature is to encourage people to walk more than to drive. Together with this the Walk Mate feature will let you know how much carbon dioxide you have saved by walking. The phones are going to be available in the second quarter of 2010.
